Greetings All. It has been awhile since I have posted anything here, have been busy, busy with projects, sick folk and lots and lots of things to do. Whew. Just now able to sit down and catch my breath.
I was so thrilled to get my china cabinets put up before Thanksgiving. My early Christmas present to myself the tropical bird print by Shanna Cochran. I absolutely love it and it goes perfectly in my kitchen with the red wall.
China cabinets display using my Gibson white collection and some red chinoiserie. Some of my gold rimmed glasses that I have collected. I love being able to display my collections.
My Thanksgiving tablescape. Black and white with red chinoiserie. I like mixing up the pieces and being able to use more of my dish collections. The crystal candleholders I found at two different places, and at different times, but they match perfectly. (You know it's a "God Thing")
Agate napkin rings purchased from Pier One last year.
Dinner is served. A quiet Thanksgiving with just the two of us. Our daughter did get to come a few days before Thanksgiving and spend some time with us. We were so blessed to get to see her.

Chocolate, chocolate chip cheese cake .
Our beautiful daughter, Tonya.
Mani-pedi day
I did some updating in my Living room. Going for a little more glam, inspired by this awesome print I got.
Also, I purchased this beautiful pink rug for the entry. My second mirrored table.
I was so very blessed to find, not just 1 but 2 (two) peacock fireplace screens. This one is absolutely gorgeous and I have it in the living room. It was in pristine condition and did not require any cleaning at all. The one below, I found earlier this past summer and it took me several days to clean off the old tarnish. It could probably stand a few more cleanings, but it will just have to do for now.. I have it in the tv room .
This one is not as ornate as the one above it, but I was so thrilled to find them. I had been on the hunt for a long time, and was doubly blessed to find two of them. (It's a "God Thing, again).
I have been collecting the clear acrylic retro lamps for sometime and finally got them all put in the living room. I am so in love with all of them. I eventually hope to find black shades for all of them. Only 3 of them have the black shades right now.
Another retro acrylic lamp. and Mini Mouse.
This lamp is a double column acrylic retro. You can barely see the distinct two columns.
I have one small one beside the fireplace on the right.
I definitely believe that "more is more" right?.
These two I have had for sometime. They aren't retro but I love them anyway. Peek-a-boo watching the birds.
Scored two of the mirrored tables at Furniture Factory Outlet on clearance. Had been wanting some for quite sometime. Oooops, I see the kitty play box.
Mini Mouse, our newest fur baby. She is so adorable. I guess someone must have dropped her off. That is just so cruel. She was hiding in the blackberry patch and I couldn't reach her. It took me a week of steady coaxing, feeding and talking to before I could snatch her up. She has been such a blessing and is such a loving little kitten.
I finally got my wall of birds put up.
So you see, I have been very, very busy this summer and fall.
This is my last Don Juan rose for the year.
Our "mother deer" had twin fawns this Spring, and we were blessed to get to watch them grow and play all summer and fall. This is a recent picture of them, they have lost their spots and are really getting big. The baby on the right has the largest ears!
As you can see, this has been a busy summer and fall for me. I still have several projects that I want to get finished before winter sets in.
CHRISTMAS SNEAK PEEK
I pray that we will all remember the true meaning of Christmas.
I don't have everything finished yet, so I am going to just post a little sneak peek for you. I hope you will check back next week and see the finished product.
I love this April Cornell holiday tablecloth, I think it will go very nicely with my Christmas decor this year.
some pink, gold, silver and iridescent ornaments in a large crystal bowl.
my new pink velvet santa, goes so nicely with the pink theme this year.
I hope you have enjoyed catching up with me. I always love to read your comments. Thank you for stopping by
Hugs and blessings
Kathryn.
