kathrynbelleglitz and glam: DREAMY DARK ROMANTIC BEDROOM

Hello everyone. Now that fall is here and the days are growing shorter and darker, our summer florals are making the journey with us in forms of dreamy, dark and moody wallpapers and fabrics. I'm thinking about changing up my bedroom and what better place to let these flowers bloom than in my bedroom!

Here are some preliminary plans.

This particular photo is my absolute inspiration; however, the bedding has been discontinued, so I am having to search for alternative bedding.

I came across this one the other day and is supposedly available through H&M but I could not find it. It seems to be the closest to the inspiration bedding that I have found so far.

Love the quilted pattern

I found this dark gray throw and bedskirt that I think will be nice for the foot of the bed.

I love the caned headboard in the inspiration photo and I have been on the hunt for MONTHS for one and I finally found one.!!!!!

this one is probably closer to the inspiration one, but I love mine and feel so blessed to have found it.

I want to do my accent wall, dark gray or black, and paint my headboard light gray or cream distressed.

I love the dark charcoal wall color.

This floral mural, (or a painting if I could find one large enough to go behind the headboard), is very pretty.

but it doesn't have to cover the entire wall. The wallpaper ones are pretty pricey, so I'm thinking maybe a print to just hang behind the headboard.

I would like to have this rug,

Oh, oh, and this light fixture!!!

or maybe I can find a dreamy chandelier.

This one is just so beautiful!

I currently have a ceiling fan, and with our hot, humid summers here, I would hate to give it up. Maybe one with a very glam light fixture.

I would also love to have two mirrored armoires in this style but painted black.

and maybe some new bedside lamps.

I think I might like the pink against the dark gray ?

dark gray draperies ( I so love, love these) love the way they pool.

with these sheers, they are almost identical to the wallpaper I am wanting for behind the caned headboard.

Sooooooooo, now I have the headboard, bedskirt and throw. Just need to get the other items to make this dream bedroom come true. I have several months until winter is over, so I will definitely be on the hunt .

So, there you have it. Just my plans for my winter dark, moody and dreamy, romantic bedroom.
