Happy Tuesday everyone. Here's hoping everyone had a safe and wonderful Memorial Day.
Thank you to the men and women who gave their lives, our Veterans, and the men and women serving in the Armed Forces today that we might live in freedom..
The very word Veteran stands for liberty.
I had a wonderful time with my sister and her family, we had grilled steak, Texas toast, salad and fresh grilled (in the shuck) corn on the cob, plus WATERMELON!!! yum doesn't get much better than this. Sorry, I forgot to take photos (can you believe that?).
I wanted to post my reveal for my outdoor table setting. I am still working on my seating area, but I wanted to go ahead and share this with you.
I used black and white polka dot fabric for my chairs
the plates are plastic (great for outdoors, no worry of breaking) from Family Dollar with pink flamingos and toucan birds
anyone for pink lemon aide ? so delicious on a warm summer afternoon. The glasses are clear plastic from Walmart with black electrical tape for the stripe around them.
the white butterflies are thrift store finds.
my accent pillows from Walmart are green with pink flamingos
Hurricanes are from WalMart clear plastic shell salad bowls are thrift store finds. I like to use plastic outdoors, but I like for it to still be stylish and pretty.
as dusk approaches, the candles look so pretty
Roses from my garden
I am so pleased with the results of my outdoor dining area tablescape. Now, on to the seating area. I will be doing it in black and white also with pops of pink . Can't wait to get it finished so I can share with you.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comments are greatly appreciated.
Till next time.
Blessings
