RECENT THRIFT STORE FINDS

Hello dear friends.  This week I did a little (maybe a little more than a little) thrifting!  I am always on the hunt and/or lookout for goodies.  Someone recently asked me if I look for something specific?  No, just whatever may catch my eye.  I do love to find small floral arrangements,  table napkins, vintage material, gold rimmed glasses, and pillows.  Those are some of my favorite finds.  So this week I found several things. I have been on the hunt for quite sometime for corelle ware .  I love the lightness of it and its durability.  Mainly I have been wanting some for outside this summer so I don't have to worry about bringing them in.  Well----- this week I found some!!!!! I was totally thrilled!.  And, it was a pattern that I really loved too.  I got a 3 piece place setting for 4 for $5.00 !! Was $10.00, which would have been a great price, but it was on sale for 50% off!!!  I could not believe my wonderful blessing.  It is truly a God thing. He always points me in the right direction for something on my wishlist.       So here is my corelle ware that I was so blessed to get.  What do you think??? I think it is just PERFECT!

Dinner plate, bowl and cup

 I don't think I could have found a pattern I like better .

I have also been on the hunt for an area rug similar to this one.  I'm certain God will provide one for me.  Stay tuned to see.

I am just crazy in love with it!!!

So...on with my thrifting treasures from this week.
You'd be surprised just how much $20.00 can buy when thrifting!!!

This week I hit Hope's Closet in Hardy, New Beginnings in Ash Flat and St. Jude Thrift Store.

I found these lovely small floral arrangements $1.00 each

(You can never have enough small floral bouquets)

I also found this great vintage piece of chinoiserie material $0.50. It will make a beautiful pillow case or even 2 napkins??

2 sets of table napkins $1.50 and $1.00 (4 of each)

This particular leaf pattern is so trendy right now.  It is a classic.  I may even frame them???

This unique candle holder $3.50 (still had the cardboard packing inside). Glass sides and removable lid with crystal finial.  (Probably be safest to use a battery candle).

aromatique votive holder $1.00 and this is a nice sized one about 6"tall...and...........mercury silver.

Mercury silver  lighted sphere $1.00

2 chartreuse plastic wine glasses $.25 each.

a 2nd gold rimmed wine glass to match one I already have. $1.00 ( matched exactly!)

and this snuggly wool plaid throw for $2.50

grand total $20.50  What a blessed week I had thrifting!!!.

What are some of your favorite things you look for at thrift stores/yard sales/auctions, etc.  I would love to hear from you.  your comments and questions are welcome.  This blog if  for YOU.  Thanks for stopping by and God Bless.

till next time......

  1. OK there is that word again up there!! LOL Lordy me. I miss all the thrift shops up there!!! I use to go with Mom and I can't seem to find any down here or I just don't know where to look! I may have a yard sale scoped out for tomorrow that has ALOT of floral things that I am very interested in. I love to find the floral things, vases, I love to find old tea cups and saucers, I have some of my Mom's here that I took. I love to find things to decorate out in the yard with, bird baths and bird houses, wind chimes and little yard decorations. I could never ever decorate as fine as you do, you just have a knack for that kind of stuff but I too use to love going to thrift and flea markets and yard sales and finding those special little treasures and great bargains and coming home and just knowing them were meant just for me!! You made a great haul today with your pretty goodies!!
