Spring Flowers

Happy Friday.

My flowers are blooming their little hearts out right now.  Knock out roses, clematis, columbine, irises, regular roses.  My hostas are looking really good.

The hummers have started coming in.  I have seen two so far.  Yayyyyy!

they've got lots and lots of flowers to get nectar from plus I have feeders up.

I am so loving my refreshed bedroom with pink infusion.  Just added this dust ruffle too.

I have been working on my bathroom, doing my "own" one room challenge.

Replacing shower curtain, refreshing towels.

 Will be adding new artwork and more towels.


 And working some more on my kitchen.  Just made this no sew faux roman shade for my kitchen.  So, so easy.

 Fold over edges and iron down.  Place stitch witchery in fold and iron again.  Do this around all edges

  Fold over material to desired pleats.  On backside, place stitch witchery underneath the fold and iron down.

 Voila!.  Instant Roman shade.  I also added black ribbon across the pleats.   Here is the finished product.

Now, I just need to get my cabinets painted (black)  can't wait !!!

I have been wanting to crochet a popcorn stitch throw with pinks for my refreshed living room.  I have been steadily working on it and here is the finished product.

Many women prefer bouquets for special events, i.e birthday, anniversary, valentine's day, Mother's Day, etc.  Me, I would much rather have a tree, shrub, fern, potted plant, or flowers to plant in my garden.
For my anniversary I got this beautiful home made card,  Mr. Glitz and Glam always makes them for me.  I love how special they are.     money (yayyy)   and two lovely palms.

 These will look so nice around my pool this summer. Add a little tropical flare.

For Mother's Day ( I know, I know, it's early but I have to get things when they are available around here )  Usually that means getting things before the actual event.
I got these gorgeous geraniums, (3 large pots of them)!

 and Kimberlie Queen fern

 my not so great attempt at  putting a white stripe on my black pot, lol, pretty pathethic.  Will definitely need some touching up and straightening out.

The weather has been so beautiful.  I have been cleaning my pool and working some on my patio area.  Will be posting the refresh very soon.
